On Saturday 24th January, 西施直播_MAVER1CKS, 西施直播_1NNOVA and 西施直播_TR0JAN travelled to St Christopher School to take part in a twenty-nine-team event, with 西施直播_MAVER1CKS claiming the Middle School Excellence award, being the highest award in a Vex competition and 西施直播_1NNOVA leaving with the Sportsmanship award.

Each team was scheduled to play six qualification matches, and these were by far the toughest yet. 西施直播_MAVER1CKS secured an impressive 7th place with four wins out of six matches, forming an alliance with 1649E The Empire for the elimination rounds. 西施直播_1NNOVA also finished 18th, celebrating three wins before joining up with 3116X Team Control Freaks 鈥 King Jeff. Unfortunately, 西施直播_TR0JAN were unable to make it to the elimination rounds.

西施直播_MAVER1CKS delivered a strong performance, progressing straight to the semifinals before losing to 17711V 鈥 Vector and 10478C 鈥 Error 404 in an incredibly close game. Sadly, 西施直播_1NNOVA were unfortunate to not progress past the round of sixteen, losing 26 鈥 14 in a close match against 1408H 鈥 Hyper and 20785Z 鈥 Zenith.

In skills, 西施直播_MAVER1CKS maintained their national number one position in the middle school bracket with a new high score of 102 points, whilst 西施直播_TR0JAN placed 27th in the same bracket with 30 points.

To round off the event, teams were also credited with awards, resulting in 西施直播_MAVER1CKS receiving their first ever Excellence award after 鈥渄emonstrating overall excellence in both judged and performance categories鈥. 西施直播_1NNOVA also received their first VEX V5 award for Sportsmanship. These achievements marked milestones for both teams this season, and showed significant progress. Congratulations to 西施直播_INNOVA for winning their first award.

Overall, this event was an enormous success for all three teams, who can now look forward to the Kingswood School competition next weekend to improve their scores prior to Nationals at the end of February.
