House General Knowledge

This year’s House General Knowledge competition was a fiercely contested event, with each and every house putting forward an impressive team.

The competition took place over a single afternoon in the Exam Hall, with three main rounds of challenging questions, ranging from current affairs and board games to topics surrounding the city of London.

Our house, Raphael, started strong, answering quickly and accurately in the opening round and maintaining momentum through the specialist subject and picture rounds. One standout moment was the miscellaneous round, where we managed to pull ahead with a series of sharp, well-timed answers.

It was a close contest right until the end, but thanks to some excellent teamwork and a wide spread of knowledge, our house managed to clinch first place overall, earning valuable points in the House Cup standings and, of course, some serious bragging rights!

Once again, congratulations to all those who took part, and a huge thank you to Mr Wells for hosting the event!
